Overview
IQ Engineers were contracted by our client to supply and install a 250mm Enclosed Filter Distributor. This project was part of our clients ongoing site upgrade to the filter bed treatment process to ensure long-term operational efficiency.
Scope of works for the client
Design, supply, delivery, and installation of a new Enclosed Filter Distributor which also included us visiting site to carry out a full site survey to assess dimensional details and levels. Our machine was designed to ensure that the new system matched site specific flow requirements.
Process and timeline
Design; GA drawings issued and approved within 2 weeks, the manufacturing was allocated a 12 week programme that covers procurement, fabrication, assembly and QA checks. Installation of the parts was completed within a week on site which included final adjustments to achieve correct performance.
Conclusion
The project was completed on schedule, with the installed Distributor meeting all required operational and quality standards. By tailoring the equipment to the existing infrastructure and collaborating closely with our client, IQ Engineers delivered a robust and efficient solution with minimal disruption to the site’s daily operations.
